R. P. Hall reports from Seattle that Freeman Shultis died August 31 in Seattle, where he had moved from Mitchell several years earlier. Funeral held September 27 under Seattle lodge auspices. Shultis was among Mitchell’s first residents and a charter Mason.

Younger pupils of Mrs. Maude Silsby Nichols presented a piano recital at the Congregational church on Friday evening.
