Murder at Sisseton ends in coroner verdict
In Sisseton South Dakota on September 1 the coroner's jury found William Pimapatrick murdered L M Hanson by blows to the head. Hanson, heir to about 110000 and owner of property, was found asleep in a room above a candy store. Jourdain and Fitzpatrick aided in the assault and Hanson died at a hotel the next morning. Fitzpatrick and Jourdain are jailed awaiting trial. Also John Cook, longtime farmer and former sheriff, died of lung fever near Mitchell on August 30.
