Injured Milwaukee brakeman George Palmer loses limb
George Palmer a Milwaukee road brakeman was crushed by moving freight cars at a yard switch on Monday night. His left leg was amputated below the thigh and the right leg was badly injured but physicians hope to save it. Palmer's home is in Sioux City and his wife and child arrived Tuesday.
