Suffrage Campaign Events and Convention Proceedings

Death of Miss Mary Ann Eastman in 78th year
Miss Mary Ann Eastman died Friday night at 8 30 at the home of her nephew George H Eastman on the south side aged 78. She had been an invalid for years and recently ill. She was an Episcopalian and funeral services were held at Mr Eastman's home conducted by Rev Frank Durant. Pallbearers included E L Potter J C Purdy W H Bloss W V Spink M M McDonald and J H Simpson. Remains were taken to Alexandria for burial on the Milwaukee train with relatives and Rev Mr Babcock present. She leaves relatives in the east and a resident brother with Mr Eastman. The School Board met last evening with light business and bills allowed.
