Mitchell Club Opens Season With Dancing Party
Its Initial Party at the Mitchell Club rooms Friday evening drew a good attendance of dancing enthusiasts. Collins Bros. harp orchestra performed to satisfaction while Punch was served by Grace Beckwith and Margie Becker. The club plans similar events throughout the winter for members.

Tragic Death of Emery Man Building in Alexandria
Patrick McDonald of Emery, employed to erect a house for Clark Twombly in Alexandria, was accidentally killed Thursday evening. He left town with a horse and buggy, which later returned to the livery with the buggy damaged. McDonald was found unconscious near P. & Wickham’s residence, taken to a hotel, and died at 1:15 a.m. The body was returned to Emery for funeral services on Sunday.
