Third Fatality in Family from Gasoline Fumes
Charles Shea, twenty miles southeast of Miller South Dakota, died after entering a well and inhaling gasoline fumes. This marked the family's third fatal accident in a short span, following a father killed by a flying harness part and a later house fire in which a son perished. The widow is left with two surviving sons. In Newark Maryland another tragedy occurred when a 13 year old shot by his brother during a gopher hunting accident. The rifle discharge struck the boy in the left eye and doctors hope to save him.
