Seventy Fifth Anniversary Planned by American Sunday School Union
The American Sunday School Union based in Philadelphia will mark its seventy fifth anniversary on May 25 in Philadelphia with a large program at the Academy of Music. President Morria K. Jesup of New York leads a national committee including Clarkson Clothier and William Wanamaker, with J M Andrews as secretary. The union has operated across the United States, organizing over one hundred thousand Sunday Schools in its 75 years. Justice McKinley officiated a Friday wedding at his home uniting Herbert Graves of Plano township and Miss Cora Belle Hawkins of Sioux Falls.

Toasts and responses followed as Toaat master I. A. Bidwell called the gathering to order.

Work on the artesian well by Mahanna Johnston halted due to sand obstructing progress. Deepest measured 578 feet three weeks ago with no current drilling, city council hopeful yet cautious.
