Mitchell to Host Grand Army Encampment Next June
The executive committee of the Grand Army, Womens Relief, and Sons of Veterans, about fifteen members, met last Saturday to organize for the state encampment in Mitchell. Commander Silsby was named chairman, C. C. Bras secretary, and H. R. Kibbee treasurer with committees for entertainment, finance, decoration, reception, and more. Plans aim to draw many old soldiers and friends to Mitchell for the encampment week eight years after the last visit, promising a grand, memorable event.
