Senate routine and amendments loom in Washington
The March 6 senate session handled routine local-interest business. The Bland seigniorage bill moved from the house to the finance committee. An amendment to the rules sought a 380 day reporting deadline, with restrictions if unmet. Debate over proper committee reference followed. House business included Moody’s revival prayer, roofed by urgent deficiency bill actions, and a river bridge height tweak.
