Humor Fragments From Various Papers Showcase Witty Exchange
A collection of quips and cartoons from multiple papers features a hayseed and a dignified traveler debating authorship and hogpens, a stamp repairer dubbed field marshal of finance, a jailhouse joke about two women and jail life, and light exchanges about authorship and luck. The items mirror early 20th century humor with regional slang and punchlines.
