Worthington's July Issue Highlights Lighthouse System Article
Worthington's Illustrated Magazine for July, its second volume, upholds brightness and solidity with The Lighthouse System of the United States by Hon. S. G. W. Benjamin. It outlines America's extensive coastal protection, lighthouses, lightships, and buoys, plus the efficient survey and lighting system run at nearly three million dollars annually. Harper's Magazine will feature fiction by Richard Harding Davis and W. D. Howells, while Harper's Weekly shows Harvard Yale boat race and Gettysburg despite desecration by trolley lines. Mr. Fuller's The Cliff Dwellers continues with a half-page T. de Thulstrup illustration.
