Regular afternoon classes were moved to Saturday morning with an extra Physical Culture lesson. Miss Foster’s rattan and raffia basket work received high praise for its speed and quality. Prof. oe of DePauw and Haymock spoke on Friday about drawing and physical culture in local schools. Prof. Brumbaugh’s prior institute work is well remembered. Closing exercises featured County teachers’ remarks on next year’s plans and salary goals. Prof. Stout, Prof. Graham, Mrs. Clark, Miss Foster, ex-Superintendent Brown, Rev. B. Clark, and Prof. Fry spoke. Prof. Quigley announced the Davison county institute adjourned for 1902 with gratitude to Mr. Coursey, who received two chairs.
