The Davison County Board of Commissioners met in regular session to elect a chairman for the year. S J Moore received three votes, J W Gilfillan two, with a unanimous selection for Moore after a ballot. Several accounts were approved for county services and hospital expenses, and motions adjourned the meeting to 9 o'clock Wednesday morning.
The Mitchell county board convened January 6 with all members present to audit accounts for November and December 1903. They examined county bills, approved payrolls, settled with county auditor and treasurer, and authorized tax sale redemptions. Multiple named individuals and firms appear in payments for jurors, county services, printing, and supplies, with adjournments set for later sessions.
Members vote to table business and adjourn from 1 30 p m to 9 o'clock Tuesday morning January 12 motion carried.
