Dell Morrison, wanted in Nebraska for horse stealing, was captured in Sioux City by Deputy Sheriff Harry Wir. Morrison had evaded pursuers for three weeks and had a prior term in the Sioux Falls penitentiary. He allegedly stole two tenths of horses and a wagon from a Wakefield farmer and sold the property to Joan Horan in Nebraska. Sheriff C F Hanson of Dakota City located Morrison as he headed toward the city. Morrison initially denied his identity but confessed when the Nebraska sheriff would take him into custody.
