Railroad Blockade Persists Between Mitchell and Aberdeen
For seven days the Milwaukee road between Mitchell and Aberdeen remained blocked due to blizzards and drifting snow. A snow plow and passenger train later reached Mitchell after 82 hours on the road, while the eastern line to Minneapolis stayed closed.
