Katie Heidinger aged 19 was found dead by hanging at her home eight miles south of Mt. Vernon. Coroner Daniels and Sheriff Cook investigated and ruled no inquest. funeral held at her father's home with interment in Union township cemetery. Katie had planned Christmas visit to Douglas county and wedding to Fred Bradway within six weeks.
