J I McDougal lieutenant governor of South Dakota testified in St Paul that he once acted as general agent for Acme Independent Harvester Co and handled McCormick and Deering products. He said in 1908 a rival informed him he could not mix Acme with the trust line and the International line was removed from him. He later regained the line only to be squeezed out again the following year.
