Tragic Train Fatality in Deadwood Falls On Track
In Deadwood South Dakota a man identified as Bernado Zelesentti, 41, Italian miner from Aladdin Wyoming, was struck and killed by a city-bound Northwestern train as he slept on the center of the track. He had come to town from Bellefourche for work and had a cap near his trunk. The body was mangled and required wheelbarrow removal. He left a wife in Italy and a 2-year-old son in Aladdin.

2000 Cases Against Actors Are Dismissed
Kansas City, April 20. Over 2000 cases against theater people and others employed in Kansas City play houses were wiped from the docket after Jackson county prosecutor I B Kimbrell moved to dismiss them. The cases arose from a Sunday observance crusade and followed Judge Wallace obeying a Supreme Court order and transferring Sunday closing cases to Judge Porterfield. About 3030 cases have been started in the past three weeks and will take the summer to try.
