Erastus Perry Ends Life On Farm Near Marshall
Erastus Perry, 45, shot himself with a rifle Thursday afternoon on a farm seven miles south of Marshall after noting business troubles. With no one home except his two young daughters, he died a few hours later. He leaves a wife and seven children, including Lennie and Nellie Perry and Clell and Jeas Perry in California. Funeral held at Mt Olive church Thursday afternoon, led by Rev. James Martin.
