CAPT THOMAS LOF IUS, a former resident, died at the Confederate Soldiers Home in Higginville Sunday morning about 1 a m, aged 77. He was Rose and Buckner a shoemaker for 16 years, opened a shop on West Arrow four years ago, then moved to Higginville where he found a congenial home. On hearing of his death, C M Buckner went at once to Higginville to take charge.

Geo B Aulgur died suddenly at his Bridge Street home Friday night March 8 1912 at 10 o clock after supper he lay down and died. Born October 27 18 in Adair County Kentucky he moved to Missouri at age nine. He married M J Vedder July 4 1630 and leaves a wife four sons and one daughter plus a stepson and several siblings. The body was buried at Fairview cemetery Thursday afternoon in Sweet Springs Herald.

Mrs Annie Solomon died at the home of her son J W Solomon on South English Tuesday March 19th. She would have been 100, born August 5 182, in Avon county North Carolina, moved to Warren county Tennessee at age three, married to Bennett Solomon Sr on Navy 14 1645. Funeral services were held at the residence yesterday at 10 am by Rev A R Paria with burial in Ridge Park cemetery. She was an excellent lady in good health a week ago.
