He arrived in Kansas City at age four and helped build the old Oilliss Theatre. Survived by widow four sons L B Huff Paul E Huff B F Huff James M Huff Jr and daughter Mrs Mabel Bramlage. Funeral Sunday 2 pm at home and Woodlawn Cemetery burial.

Sad Death of Martin Cordsen in Concordia Burial at St Paul
Martin Cordsen shot himself on Thanksgiving day while hunting and died from lockjaw Saturday at age twenty two. He was buried Tuesday in St. Paul cemetery at Concordia. Son of Chris Cordsen, a wealthy Iowa farmer who bought the Frits Ehlers place after moving here a few years ago. He trained in jewelry and engraving and worked in Sedalia before visiting his parents during Thanksgiving.

Robbers Blow Safe In Lexington Jewelers Heist
In Lexington Missouri on December 24 burglars tried doors of a nearby residence and broke into August Egle’s jeweler shop at 3 am. They attempted to blow the safe with nitroglycerin but used too much explosive, blowing in the inner door. The occupants were awakened and aided the escape with loot estimated at 1500.

Mr Tom Fisher was accidentally shot on a hunting trip when a gun misfired while being pulled into a boat near the Ormund Hopp place in the lower bottom A. The bullet struck his left shoulder causing severe damage. Dr Cra from Miami treated him after a long rough trip. Crutches Bring Laughter as Rose Valley Visitors Arrive
