Death of Sherman woman after lingering illness
The wife of Rev. McGeachy of Sherman Texas died Thursday evening after a lingering illness. She was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. P H Franklin of this city. Funeral services were at First Presbyterian Church Sunday at 2 20 p m. Many mourners and lavish floral offerings marked the esteem for the deceased. Rev W R Dobyns of St Joseph preached a sympathetic service noting she joined the church under his ministry years ago and married ten years ago. Pallbearers included Judge Samuel Davis T W Lacy R B L Smith Phil Ott H C Francisco Joshua Barbee. Visitors from a distance attended. remains laid to rest in Ridge Park cemetery. Sympathy to husband and parents.
