Mrs Emily Scullen of Sturgeon Mo died at home November 18 at about 68. She left a brother G H Gibson in Sturgeon and was noted by Mr Gibson and others attending her funeral. Ole Ellingson a longtime Shoemaker at Houx Bros died after a long illness. He was 59, survived by his widow and eight children. Funeral at home Monday 2 pm conducted by Rev A H Stephens. Burial in Ridge Park cemetery. Pallbearers named C W Peecher J W Cravene A J Hanna Geo H Atlhouse J S Jenkins G W Davis.

Death of Benjamin F Lemmon A Longtime Farmer
Benjamin F. Lemmon died after a long illness of chronic Bright's disease at his home south of Miami on Tuesday night November 22, 1910. He was 79 years old and respected as a sturdy farmer and citizen. Funeral services will be held at his home Thursday afternoon November 24 at 1 30 by Rev J C Saylor. Interment in Christian cemetery.

Remains of Miss Hatth Rutherford Arrive for Burial
The remains of Miss Hatth Rutherford arrived in Marshall Tuesday at 11 o clock from Seattle and were received by undertaker Paris Walker. The body was sent to Union Cemetery west of Marshall for burial on Wednesday at 10 a m.

Mrs Narcissa Finley born March 27 1841 died November 24 1910 after a paralytic stroke. She leaves five children three sons and two daughters and is mourned by relatives and grandchildren. She belonged to Cumberland Presbyterian church since age 14 and lived at her long-time home after marriage to John Finley. Buried at Salt Park cemetery with a family funeral, noting sympathy from Edgar H Moore and references to a baby son of Will and Annie Moore dying at West Marion.

Lindsay Graves dies in Miami at 55 in Kansas City living life well
Lindsay Graves Col died in Miami on Thursday November 24 at 10 30 pm after illness linked to train injuries and heavy lifting. He had lived in Kansas City where he worked hard and was visiting his daughter Millie Benson. He asked friends not to grieve as he awaited the call of his Master. He was 55 years old 2 months and 2 days. He was beloved in Miami for his gentlemanly quiet conduct and his death brought regret to many friends.

Lawrence Leyhe, 14, fired a gun by accident during a family hunt with Tom Morton, 16, step son of Jas Solomon. Morton died the next morning after a bullet entered behind the head and exited the left eye. The boys were schoolmates and pals, funeral held at First Baptist Church with Rev. W. W. Found dead on a public highway near Slater early Saturday morning. Jerry Sailor, a well known farmer and brother of Jake Sailor of Malta Bend, was last seen in Slater Friday evening. He likely fell from a wagon while driving home. Coroner Scratehield notified. early findings suggest neck injury.

Court Convenes After Thanksgiving In Murder Case
The court reopened Tuesday after Thanksgiving with Albert Bolder of Sweet Springs charged with murdering Cora Walker at Hickite Farm. After 40 jurors qualified, the case was dismissed till Wednesday. On Wednesday a new jury was selected and witnesses from Sweet Springs testified. verdict pending as press time. Also, John Johnson was sentenced to 12 months in the county jail for illegal liquor selling.
