Street Fair fund forms new Marshall committee
At a subscribers meeting for the Street Fair fund an organization was formed with W. A. Beatty as president J. C. Patterson secretary and H. W. Downing treasurer An executive committee was named assigning booths to members for decorations farm products amusements music and more Booths will surround the courthouse yard with awnings and freshening decor The program includes a river act a vaudeville show and a marching band nightly as part of the Marshall Street Fair attractions.

Drowned While Swimming Near Noonville
Robert Chambers aged eighteen from a good family near Noonville drowned Sunday while bathing in the Missouri River. His brother stood on the bank and watched as he sank, another man went to his rescue but died as he disappeared beneath the water. The body was recovered later from the Missouri River.
