Louis Boatright, 60, retired farmer living on Capitol Hill, died Monday night from diabetes. Survived by wife and two daughters, son of William and Mrs. Herndon. Funeral held at MEB Church South Wednesday afternoon. Jean Leaton, two year old daughter of Mr and Mrs John Leaton near Napton, died Saturday from bowel inflammation. Burial at Smith’s Chapel Sunday.

Mrs Russel Stone Dead After Illness in Barcelloser Spring
Mrs Russel Stone formerly Carrie Barnett died at home in Barcelloser Spring Tuesday night after a long illness. She was 18, survived by her husband and an infant son, underwent an operation that initially seemed successful but ended in death. Her father Mr Minny Barnett and the rest of her family have been laid to rest in recent years. Remains were brought to Marshall on the C and A noon train and burial followed at Ridge Park Cemetery after services by Rev Xenophon Ryland of Lexington.

L F Leyhe of Lancaster mourns the death of his father Henry A Leyhe at 1 am Saturday at age 87 years 8 months 1 day. Born near Berlin Germany the elder Leyhe immigrated as a child and leaves a wife six sons and two daughters. A former farmer who retired 15 years ago he battled cancer the last three years. A Lutheran and Mason the funeral was held at the Christian Church in Lancaster Monday led by Rev Rosenstengel of Carthege Illinois.

A brick Methodist church on Marion Street burned Tuesday night around ten after a severe thunderstorm. Sparks struck the building, which was relatively new and valued at about $11,100 with $6,000 insurance. The Christian Science congregation had rented it for years. trustees listed are M. C.
