A fatal car crash Monday on No 24 highway east of Miniota killed Wilda Lockhart of Arrow River and Catherine Dimitri the mother of Mrs. J. Czubaty. Three other passengers Shona Leland Patsy Wiens and Marilyn Bruce were hospitalized. Families express deep sorrow for the teen and mother lost.

Funeral services were held for Caleb Sidney Coldman at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Beulah with Rev. John Pilling officiating. Born November 2 1886 in Ashted England, he came to Canada in 1912 and worked for the CNR until 1950.
