Birdtail River School Board Holds September 1969 Meeting
Birdtail River School Division No. 38 held a regular meeting at Shoal Lake on September 25, 1969 at 8 p.m. Trustees Fulton Randell Hames Lewyck y Butcher Hyndman Waddell Falloon and Armitage attended. Motions approved minutes, correspondence, and multiple tenders for buildings and land. Ray Simms named half time Supervisor of Physical Education. Also approved carpet sweeper for Hamiota Collegiate. Two resolutions urged printing essential materials by June 30 and amending kindergarten grant rules to 40 pupils. Meeting adjourned to October 2, 1969.

Donations and purchases include dishes, utensils, and seven overbed tables. August admissions 76 births 6 deaths 2. 94 patients treated. laundry cost 471.68.

Park Residence News Visitors and Thank You Notes
Visitors to Park Lodge Residence on Friday included Miss Hargraves Mrs Williams Mrs Orpin and Mrs Lizzie Stuart from Shoal Lake. Nineteen more arrived Sunday for a hymn sing ending with Billy Graham hymn How Great Thou Art. Mrs Barnes thanks Park Residence Ladies for kindness during knee recovery as tea coffee and dainties were appreciated. Mrs L Henderson received visits from her daughter and son in law Lorne and Arthur Boys of Oak Lake. Currie of Kenton visited Mrs Cormack this week and Jean Morrice of Winnipeg with her mother Mrs John Morrice visited last weekend.
