An overflowing audience attended a Saturday variety concert at Miniota Collegiate auditorium with Rev. K. Murdoch as M C. Local groups from Arrow River Crandall Isabella Two Creeks Kenton Miniota and more contributed performances including a humorous Hollywood Fashion Show. Proceeds of 210.58 benefited the New Rink fund.

The afternoon Unit of the U C W met at Mrs Wes Leland’s home on Thursday November 18 with 9 members and 1 visitor. Mrs Leland led worship themed A Deeper Note Than Victory. Mrs Hill and Mrs Rowan led Trinidad study and showed a filmstrip with music. Donations of food and cash were promised for Christmas Boxes. The January meeting will be at Mrs Reynolds’s home. Lunch was served by hostess Mrs Wes Leland.
