The whist drive and dance held Friday night by the Min iota open air rink committee drew fair attendance with 13 tables in play. Prizewinners were Miss F Berwick and J Desmond and Miss FE Beiber and D Cunningham. Music by the Miniota orchestra. A lunch was served. Net proceeds amounted to 12.57 dollars.

Kirby couple take over Miniota hotel from Gilbart family
Mr and Mrs H Kirby of Man con have assumed management of the Miniota hotel formerly run by Mr and Mrs S Gilbart. The Gilbarts and family will leave soon to return to their farm at Elkhorn, expressing regret at departure and best wishes from friends.
