Obituary of Robert Walker Passes in Elkorn Hospital
Robert Walker died October 23 at Elkorn Hospital after a fall in Elkhorn district. Born in Scotland, he lived in Moose Jaw before farming locally. He served as Jeffery School secretary treasury and belonged to St Andrews Society. Surviving: daughter Mrs P Cameron and brother Hugh Miniota. Funeral October 25 in Elkhorn with Rev R D Johnstone, buried Elkhorn cemetery. This is the third family death since June 1958.

The Manitoba School Trust Association sponsors a spelling contest and oratorical competition at Ukrainian Hall Shoal Lake on November 7 starting 7 30.
