Philip Haines Dies in Winnipeg Hospital
Philip Haines, longtime farmer of the Two Creeks district and former operator of the Miniota Hotel, died Wednesday evening November 5 at Winnipeg General Hospital. He leaves wife five sons Wilfred Clifford Wilson Donald Kenneth and daughter Iris.

Funeral service for Mrs Martha Kelly held at Miniota United Church
Mrs Martha Kelly 90 died November 2 at Fox Memorial Hospital Carberry. Rev A M Watts led the service in Miniota United Church with burial at Isabella cemetery. Surviving daughters include Netta Lints Isabella Mae Stewart Wynona Wardell/Wellwood Edith Wardell Wellwood J C Lints, Edna Stewart, J Joseph, G Pell. Many relatives from Brandon Neepawa Dauphin attended. Kelly was a former United Church WMS member and avid curler.
