Safety Work In Strong Hands in Canada NSL meeting
W. E. Austin of Oshawa, retiring NSL Canada president, said accident prevention is in strong hands and could greatly reduce deaths and injuries if fully unleashed. P. G. McLaren added that accidents rival disease as a major disability cause, noting 10,564 of 45,850 deaths in 1964 were from accidents and homes produced the most fatal incidents.

Miniota Girls Reach Finals After Victory Over Strathclair
Miniota girls volleyball beat Strathclair on Tuesday to reach the finals alongside three other teams. The next match is set for Saturday in Birtle. Boys lost to Strathclair. A senior girls team from the zone features Elaine Zorn, Delaine Zorn, Kathy Rollo, Mona Morton, Noreen Wadham, Donna Lynne Leland, and Betty Ann Kostenuk and will run in Neepawa this Saturday.

Children and parents gathered at the church for the annual Halloween party.
