Peregrine Falcons Enlisted by Royal Air Force
A unit of peregrine falcons has joined the royal air force to clear air lanes near RAF fields during winter. The RAF announced enlistment of 15 falcons after reports of 13 air crashes involving planes and birds in England last year. Tests at an RAF field show one falcon can curb the bird menace with daily flights.
