Motions approved minutes, correspondence, land title transmission for multiple division lands under the Torrens system, and adoption of the Superintendent report and Financial Statement No 4/69.

Golden Age Group Meets at Community Centre
MINIOTA The Golden Age group met May 21 with 42 members and 2 visitors present. Mrs. D McConnell and Mrs. W Gilchrist attended from nearby communities. Mrs. Switzer, Mrs. Thompson, Mr. Still and Mr. L Leland led the program. Mr. Cook and Mrs. W Gilchrist performed accordion and harp. Mystery friends gave birthday gifts to six members as Mr. Cook and Mrs. Gilchrist played. Ten hands of whist produced high scores for Mrs. Collier and Mr. Waldie and low scores for Mrs. Stanford and Mr. Walker. Delicious lunch followed. Next meeting set for June 18 at Mrs. W A Barrett’s house.

Park Residence News Updates Family Visits Across Manitoba
Mrs Sutherland returns home after visiting relatives in Winnipeg and Selkirk. Mrs Bardwell hosts visitors including Mrs Allan Armitage of Miniota and her daughter-in-law Mrs Wm Armitage and granddaughter Patricia Lynn of Thompson. Calls have been made on Mrs Gardham by Mr and Mrs Falloon and Mrs Orr of Foxwarren and Mrs Rocan of Virden. Delbridge family spent Sunday visiting daughters in Carberry Brandon and Alexander. Maria Doherty, recently at Calgary college, spent Monday with Mrs Wiggins. Bardwell travels to Miniota to visit daughter and friends. Delbridge is progressing with landscaping. Wiggins travels to Winnipeg for grandson Mark Tennant’s graduation in Physical Education.
