Manitoba education plan expands high schools and enrolment
Manitoba reports three year school division plan boosts high school population to 44 535 with 6 276 in grade 12, up 69 percent since 1958 59. University of Manitoba enrolment up 1 082, rural divisions total high school population rises to 10 891. New buildings additions total 97 high schools 22 additions and 66 new elementary schools 64 additions. consolidation grows to 168 districts with 159 owned buses carrying 24 000 students and costing 893 000 for operations and 183 550 for purchases.

Miniota Students Attend Pre College Clinic at Brandon College
A total of 292 students from 32 high schools joined the Brandon College Pre College Clinic and Seminar on Friday March 30. Miniota Collegiate attendees included Mary Rittaler Judy Leland Linda Leland and other students. Faculty members Dr J M Robbins Dean H S Perdue and others conducted testing and provided information on courses scholarships bursaries and loan funds to help planning for college education.
