Aviator Buzzard Meets Secretive Stranger in Edmonton Flight
Alan Baker, a former Mounted sergeant, connects with Buzzard Featherer at an Edmonton field. Baker seeks a ride and a risky mission tied to his Arctic investigations, while Buzzard eyes a fast wage and big plane upgrade. They plan meals, talk war lore, and plot a potential job as Baker wires Colonel Steele for a salary advance.
