Mission Band Meeting Report
The Mission Band met on February 20 in the school with 45 members present. Patsy Wiens assisted with the flannel graph story and Ken Peel along with Sharon Bryant helped in the business portion. A collection of $1.44 was raised. The next meeting is scheduled for March 5.

C.G.LT. Holds Meeting on Handicrafts
The club met on Wednesday to explore crafts such as suji wire shellcraft decorative bubbles and chocolate making. Additional sessions were hosted at Mrs. A. M. Watts and Mrs. Roy Leland homes for chocolates and aluminum etching with Mrs. E Spalding aiding instruction.

Ratepayers Press For Local School Plan
Ratepayers and electors from Miniota Isabella and Beulah gathered February 24 to hear Hon Stewart McLean explain a proposed new school plan. They resisted abandoning the Municipal School System for a plan they call too large to meet current needs. E L Reynolds chaired the meeting with Hon John Thompson and inspectors K B Thorkelson and P H Funk in attendance. It was announced that March 31 will be election day for divisional school board members under the February referendum.
