Bud Barrett joins the RCAF awaiting call. Final payments on the Miniota Municipal Telephone System are completed. AC Ray Salwar Brindon and G Fraser MacDonald RCAF spent the weekend in town. John Spadding attends Saskatchewan Municipalities Convention in Saskatoon. Ladies of Miniota United Church raise funds at rummage sale and tea. Winners listed for New Victory Bonds. Lloyd Spencer RCAF Calgary on 7-day leave. United Stores promo on knitting yarn. United Young Peoples Concert and Dance set for March 20 in Miniota hall for church and missions. W M S notes Bible study and bridge games aiding Queen Elizabeths Fund. Bernard Leary takes over Imperial Oil Agency in Miniota. asks for local gas and oil business and empty barrels.
The Stampene nuitter Club held a February 28 draw listing payments from members including J Dickinson G Grant and many others. A Miniota YPA meeting followed Wednesday in the church parlor led by Miss J MacKinnon with a Fellowship address and a quiz and games ending with lunch and benediction.
The Bibile Fat Stock Show and Sale will be held at Birtle on Thursday April 2 1942. Watch for prize lists and results as the event proceeds.
