Passed away on Thursday February 19 at the home of her daughter Mrs J M Armstrong Nelson B C in her 86th year. Surviving are five daughters Margaret Vancouver Eva Nelson Alice Revelstoke Jessie Mission Gladys Calgary and two sons Charles Vancouver and George Robson. The former friends of the family will regret the loss as the last surviving member of the original Taylor family. A D Clyde had died 21 years ago.

The United Church Women’s Association hosts a rummage sale at the former W. H. Harlin store on Saturday February 28 from 1.30 pm. donations may be left at W. A. Barrett’s warehouse. A 10-cent tea will be served.
In a rapid prize draw a $600 Victory Bond was offered to 100 participants. Each paid from 1c to 99c, with the number 6 drawn on Friday night and John Stowe holding the winning ticket. Two more bonds will be drawn during the campaign and lists open on the next two Thursdays.
A concert and dance for church and mission proceeds will be held at Miniot2 Ball on Friday March 13. The event is billed as a United Young Peoples gathering with proceeds supporting church activities.
