Board set trustee counts per ward and approved by law No 267 for ward changes. Expenses of 90 to Birdtail Fine Arts Festival and 60 to Marquette Music Festival approved. World Day of Prayer Service Held at Holy Trinity Miniota
The World Day of Prayer service at Holy Trinity Church Miniota drew about fifty attendees. Twenty seven CGIT members led by Mrs I Armitage participated, with Mrs E Wadham Mrs J Nield Mrs J Collier and Mrs C Armitage leading. The program included prayers by different readers, an address by Mrs Len Bryant, a centennial hymn sung by Wendy Mitchell, and a moment of silence for Canada with a prayer. The offering was collected by Mrs C Goodwin and Mrs W E McDonald.
