Beulah Hosts Splendid Beulah Beulah Sports Day Recap

Beulah hosted a favored sports day last Friday at Harria farm with eight teams. Arrow River and Beulah seniors opened with a Massini goal. Ravine Ramblers beat Mites 1 0 with Lucas feint. Beulah juniors routed Beulah Buffaloes 8 0. Buffers beat Mites in final to win Beulah Cup. Minsiota placed second. Wes Armstrong won the hundred yard dash. Arthur Rowan the 220. Dick Leland the high jump.

English Church News and Upcoming Services

The English Church Womens Auxiliary held its annual meeting on Wednesday selecting President Mrs Corley Vice-pres Mrs J L Evans and Secretary Mrs Broadhurst. Last Saturday St Barnabas feast services were held at Holy Trinity Church. Next Sunday Holy Trinity at 11 am Matins and Litany at 7 pm Evensong at 3 pm. A Beulah service correction notes June 2 at 11 with Rev W Stocker.

Picnics and Sports Days Set for June in Miniota District

An array of picnics and sports events rolls through Miniota district this June. The English Church of Minnesota hosts a Pleasure Day at Happyland on June 29 with football prizes, tennis, and athletics. The Sons of England hold their annual picnic at Happyland on June 17 with a morning football match and an evening lodge session. The Union S S Picnic is planned for June 23 with communal activities and supper.
