The Hamio ta Hospital District No 7A Ladies Aid hosted a May 3 tea with bake sale and White Elephant proceeds totaling 139 dollars to fund washroom renovations. May 8–14 marked National Hospital Week with student tours from Hamio ta Collegiate and Kenton Collegiate.
Mr G Minish outlines start of Opportunity and Trainable Retarded programs in Pelly Trail School Division No 37 starting July 1 1967. Testing to place students in Opportunity classes, staffing challenges, and interboard agreements with Binscarth and Birdtail River. Developmental Education planned in three levels from readiness to occupational skills, with six to eighteen year olds, funding by Special Services Branch, and transportation and space hurdles noted.
