Chest X ray survey planned by Manitoba Sanatorium board
J. J. Zayshley led representatives from five Women’s Institutes to plan a Chest X ray survey across multiple communities. Spots include Beulah Isabella on August 15, Minot a August 16, Crandall and Arrow River on August 19 for ages 15, with school tuberculosis testing to follow early next year. The film The Inside Story was shown and officials said the radiation is minimal, even many thousands of exposures would have no effect. Miniota notes an 82 percent x ray coverage in the last survey, aiming for higher this time. An announcement on clinic hours will be issued later.
