FE Fisher departs Edmonton district for land seeking. Mrs Fisherer moves from Ernest to Holmfeld to visit relatives. Conductor Quinn shifts from Winnipes Beach to the Miniota flyer. Bob Morris conducted the Miniota excursion train. Chas Corley fired on the excursion train Wednesday, earning promotion as a Miniota native.
District observers report recent weather as discouraging but not catastrophic. Heat caused limited damage and a timely rain could yield a fair crop. If hail stays away, yields per acre may be as good as can be expected for the district.
