General board meeting held in municipal Hall Minnesota on June 27 1967 with all members present except D L Stewart and Bruce Medd. Chairman Lloyd Irwin presided. Minutes from June 13 1967 adopted. Transportation report accepted for Ward 2 road conditions discussed. pay adjustments approved for bus routes and teachers’ administration day. Negotiation Team indemnity approved. Meeting adjourned.
Mrs. W A Barrett hosted the Golden Age Group lawn party on Tuesday afternoon June 27 with 41 members and 3 visitors. A singsong followed an accordion accompaniment by Mr J Cook. Corsages were given to birthday celebrants including twins Lawrence and Scott, Nankivell, Wiggins, McKean, Collier, Irvine, Cooper, Finkbeiner and Ellerington. Tea was served by Mrs Barrett and others. Grade XI students Maria Doherty Arlene Armitage Carol Gow and Sharon Leland served lunch. The Centennial quilt cover was shown and will be displayed at Miniota Centennial July 31 with tickets and a winner draw.
