HAMIOTA The Hamiota Hospital District No. 7A Ladies Aid met January 23 at 2 30 in the Community Room. New president Mrs Wiltsey led with prayer. Eight districts answered roll call. Golden Age Club Meets in Miniota Center
The Golden Age Club held its regular meeting at the Miniota Community Centre on Wednesday afternoon with a Scottish theme. Members heard poems by Charles Murray, enjoyed violin and piano tunes, and welcomed 38 attendees including Rev. Kayes and Mrs. Steven. Plans for a Centennial float were discussed, and supper partners were arranged by seating men and women in opposite directions.

Park Residence News Social at Park Lodge
Park Residence reports a Thursday evening service led by Rev. Kayes with piano by Mrs Lorne Wright enjoyed by over twenty residents. Hymn Sing Sunday evening was well attended. Alice Rus sell and Dorothy Kirk helped and visited after singing. Several residents traveled or visited others this period. A surprise party for Mrs Sehaeth’s 75th birthday drew around 30 with lunch provided by Mrs Cooke and the Rollo Family. Pastor Dawm led a service and Mrs Munshaw offered music and a solo by Mrs Delbridge. all expressed thanks.
