Parkisimo Lodge No 76 held in Miniota January 14 with five new initiates Ford Wiggins George Gardham Neil Wallace Nelson Henderson and Howard Richardson plus Allen Jamison of Ruthplen McAuley Twenty one members attended and twelve visitors from McAuley and Oak River Russel Leland led the Degree team A fraternal visit to Hartney is planned for January 27 with a venture to Virden February 3 and Rapid City for a third degree Chas Ellerington will complete all degrees after initiating at Binscorth Grand Master L Hodnett noted the Peace Garden Entrance Gate at the Manitoba North Dakota border a highlight set for July 26 1964 Canada USA.

District Happenings Recap A Busy Institute Meeting
The meeting opened with the Institute Ode. Roll call noted attendees. The armers Creed was read. December minutes were approved. Treasurer Mrs. Amy reported 43.72 cash on hand. Correspondence included Ladies Short Courses in Brandon and Christmas cards from CNLB District Convention. A health talk by Mrs. Fulton followed by thanks from Mrs. Gow. UCFW met at Mrs. Young’s home with Rev. Sloan and Mrs. Bahanna’s life story. A study of Word and Way concluded with lunch.
