Municipal Council Meeting Minutes December 1958
Council met at the Municipal Office Minnesota on December 19 1958 with all members present Reeve H S Hyndman presided Various motions were carried including leaving the In termin Audit Report open for inspection granting Hyndman 350 dollars for 1958 paying D L Stewart 30 dollars for telephone rental in snowplow duties approving an honorarium of 50 to P N Gow for Hamildeda Hospital Board service offering G T Grant 25 for loan to attached to the machine shed and applying for a 69 percent grant from the Department of Public Works for three grade and gravel projects totaling 18000 dollars in grants 10800 7200 and 3600 The meeting also terminated R S Taylors services effective December 20 1958 adjourned to January 6 1959 and approved By Law No 1362 on school boundaries Appreciation was expressed to Councillor G Cole and notices were given for sale items and a Creed Tea followed by social remarks.

Double Ring Ceremony Unites Edna Feduik and Walter Doyle
A 3 pm Saturday December 27 wedding at Dauphin First United Church united Edna Helen Feduik and Walter Roy Doyle in a white chiffon gown and yellow blue bridesmaids gowns. The couple's families and out of town guests from Beulah La Grange Illinois Craik Sifton Beulah supported the ceremony with a Boulevarde Hotel reception and a three tier wedding cake toast.
