Herald Notices Salway Family Departure For Neepa
Two carloads of friends left the Canadian Nation and headed to the H. Salway home at Railway. The Salways plan to depart Tuesday evening to reside in Neepa as community regret grows for the World War I veteran’s passing and to wish them well. Mr Salway began work at Spy Hill railway, received gifts from H. Salway family and Gordon Salway, and later moved to Miniota where he stayed with his brother for years before retirement.

He also wins British Columbia Institute gold medal and $100 prize for top marks.
