The board adopted minutes and correspondence, appointed standing committees, approved By-law 71, authorized lease forms and safe deposit access, approved salary increments, paid Manitoba Association of School Trustees dues, canceled Route No. 101, purchased tires from listed suppliers totaling 5160.16, and adjourned to January 14 1971. Adjournment 11:15 p.m.

Upgraded operating room with sterile barrier and adjacent dressing areas, centralized sterilizing area, two bed recovery ward for intensive care, expanded bed usage with five single and nine double wards, a two bed children's ward and nursery, private and quiet corridors, ward washrooms and toilets, two tubs and two showers, separate clean and soiled utility rooms, ward separation from staff traffic, a solarium for ambulant patients, nourishment centre on wards, dressing rooms for out patients, and full building air conditioning.
